We are a not for  profit website run solely for the benefit of authors, readers , and by default, publishers.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We actively collect no personal data  on subscribers.  Our subscriber base is a list of names and email addresses known only to us. Subscribers register to receive post updates via email . You can unsubscribe at any time.

Embedded content from other websites

We use only original content for reads and interviews. However, authors head pics are often lifted from other sites that are in the public domain.  Book cover art is also in the public domain.

Analytics

We use Google analytics to see how many  visitors we get each month and who they have listened to.

Who we share your data with

We sometimes send  ‘Top Twenty’ authors of the month to publishers – this is just a list of names, no data involved. Just confirming, we collect no real data on our users at all.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In the case of authors on this site, all have signed release forms to allow us to use their recordings in order to promote their work.
